Installing Emoticons

Wanna add emoticons to your Cutenews blogs? You'll need to have the emoticons ready first. In your FTP program, open up your Cutenews folder >> Data >> Emoticons. Upload all your emoticons. You can delete the ones that are already there, but make sure the .htaccess file stays INTACT.

Now login to your Cutenews control panel and go to Options >> System Configurations. You should see a box labelled Smilies. Delete what's inside and put the names of your images. Remember that if it is saved as smilie1.gif then don't put haha in the box, put smilie1. It should look like this:

Click Here to see a preview of what is should look something like. Make sure you put NO spaces and seperate them with commas (,).If you have done all this correctly when you click Add News there is a box with [insert image], [expand] and a bunch of images in it. These images are your smilies.
