Using Avatars

Want to use avatars in your blogs? First, login to Cutenews and click on Options >> System Configurations >> News. You should see an option that says Use Avatar. Drop down the menu and pick Yes.

Now click on Options again, but this time go to Edit Template and in Active News put this in the code:

<div style="float: left;">{avatar}</div>

Put that code directly before {short story}.

Save. Now go to Full Story and repeat, this time putting the code directly before {full story}. Save that, too. When you go to blog it will now show a field that says Avatar URL, put the URL of the image you want to use as your avatar for that blog.

If you want to put the avatar on the right instead of the left, go back to the code you pasted in and change "float: left;" to "float: right;". Now save and you're done!
